Ich benutze seit mehr als einem Jahr Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 und jetzt in der Version 11 und habe in der Zwischenzeit ein umfangreiches Fachvokabular angelegt. Heute habe ich mir für den Mac auch Dragon Dictate 2.0 für den Mac zugelegt. Gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit, das persönliche Vokabular der PC-Version auf den Mac zu übertragen? Oder muss ich alle Vokabeln hier wieder neu eingeben?

DragonDictate 2.0 ist meines bescheidenen Wissens eine komplett andere Software, die von Nuance lediglich eingekauft und aus Marketing-Gründen zum Drachen umgetauft wurde (übrigens gab es in grauer Vorzeit schon mal DragonDictate für den PC, das war eine Version, die noch auf diskrete Sprechweise angewiesen war, also auf Pausen zwischen den Wörtern, im Gegensatz zu NaturallySpeaking – daher der Name).
Ich glaube, hier im Forum tummeln sich nur Leute, die Dragon NaturallySpeaking verwenden, teilweise auch auf dem iMac (so unser Co-Moderator Lindsay), dann natürlich in einer Windows-Umgebung, die ja auch auf dem iMac eingerichtet werden kann (wobei ich auch insoweit wie der Blinde von der Farbe spreche).

Nach dieser langen Vorrede: Ich weiß nicht, ob DragonDictate die Möglichkeit bietet, ganze Wörterlisten zu importieren (das müsste für dich doch eigentlich leicht herauszufinden sein). Falls nicht, wird es wohl schwierig, falls ja, müsste die Lösung doch sein, in Dragon NaturallySpeaking eine Wortliste zu exportieren und dann in DragonDictate wieder zu importieren, wie an der von Rüdiger benannten Stelle beschrieben.

Aber vielleicht gibt es ja hier jemanden, der über Erfahrungen mit DragonDictate für den Mac verfügt.

If I am correct in thinking that you want to add all your custom words from Dragon NaturallySpeaking into DragonDictate then the only way to do this is as Marius suggests, export all your custom words from naturally speaking to a text file. Then with DragonDictate go to Tools | Vocabulary Training and add your document/text file. I have never tried this personally but theoretically it should work.

Just one word of caution here, DragonDictate is far from being Dragon NaturallySpeaking in terms of command and control although in terms of dictation it uses exactly the same speech engine.

thanks for your input regarding the "sameness" of the speech engine of DragonDictate compared to Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I acknowledge the wording of my posting was misleading.

At least if we are to believe what Nuance is telling us on their website, DragonDictate does indeed use the same "speech recognition engine" as Dragon 11.

What the term "speech recognition engine" relates to precisely remains a bit fuzzy to a technical layman like me, though...

And, while I cannot judge from first-hand experience regarding the overall quality of command-and-control under DragonDictate, there seem to be at least some commands which are lacking in NatSpeak, like the following ones cited on that same webpage: "Lowercase" , "Lowercase Next/Previous" , "Put Quotes Around " "Put Parentheses Around " "Put Brackets Around "

As far as my humble knowledge goes, there are no Natural Language Commands or third-party scripts around for NatSpeak performing those actions by a single command (the scripts I know of and use require previously selected text).
But, as we all know, the command sets may vary across different language editions ...

On the other hand, some of the rather basic commands DragonDictate 2.0 boasts about, like "Select ", "Select Next/Previous" "Delete" , "Delete Next/Previous" "Train " or "Correct " "Insert Before/After" might give rise to suspicions hat there cannot be much to the command-and-control abilities of DragonDictate...

Well, winni will have to find out for himself and may be so kind as to let us know.

Na ja, so ganz präzise scheint der Wikipedia-Artikel nicht zu sein.

Denn, bei allen Zwistigkeiten über die Messung der Erkennungsrate, mehr als 80% sind es schon, und seit 2001 konnte ich erhebliche Fortschritte verzeichnen.

Ich habe Dragon Dictate für einen Tag getestet. Vor einem Jahr hatte ich noch Windows und Dragon Naturally Speaking 9. Da ich damals gute Erfahrungen hatte wollte ich jetzt wieder eine Spracherkennungssoftware haben.

Allerdings sind wie oben schon erwähnt wurde die Versionen für Windows und Mac nicht zu vergleichen. Daher habe ich mir jetzt Parallels und WindowsXP gekauft um DragonNaturallySpeaking in einer Windows Umgebung auszuführen.

Mir wurde das auch von einem Experten auf diesem Gebiet so empfohlen.

Du kannst allerdings natürlich selbst die Software einfach 30 Tage testen bei Nuance. Wenn es dir dann nicht zusagt brauchst du nur ein Formular ausfüllen und bestätigen dass du die Software wieder gelöscht hast.

Übrigens gibt es auch viele Abstürze bei DragonDictate. Englischsprachige Foren sind voll damit und der Support ist auch eher dürftig. Mehr Hilfe wirst du bestimmt auch bei einem Windows Dragon bekommen.
