in an attempt to encourage people to use the amazing power of scripting available with DNS feel free to post questions at any level on your scripting requirements. Scripting can bring incredible benefits in terms of productivity and reduced user input in carrying out multitudes of tasks within specific applications and Windows itself. We will do our best to answer questions on anything scripting, some suggestions below:

1. What is scripting all about?
Why use scripts?
How do I start?
What are the various types of scripts and the differences?

2. Script requests, is there something you always wanted to automate and thought it couldn't be done or you didn't know how to do it. Please feel free to submit any scripting requests.

3. Please post your scripts (at any level) that you have developed and find useful and hopefully we can build up a useful library of scripts for us all to share in terms of automating tasks and increasing Dragon NaturallySpeaking productivity (using DNS can be faster than a mouse and keyboard once you realise the full potential of scripting).

Please excuse my lack of expertise in the German language but hopefully Rüdiger and Marius will transform any dodgy Google translations.

um alle Nutzer zu ermutigen, die erstaunlichen in DNS verfügbaren Möglichkeiten von Scripting einzusetzen, lade ich alle gerne ein, Fragen zu persönlichen Scripting-Anforderungen zu stellen. Scripting kann großen Nutzen bringen, was die Produktivität und die Verringerung von Benutzer-Eingaben bei einer Vielzahl von Aufgaben sowohl in spezifischen Anwendungsprogramm als auch in Windows selbst angeht. Wir tun unser Bestes, um alle Fragen rund um das Scripting zu beantworten, beispielsweise betreffend:

1. Worum geht es beim Scripting überhaupt?
Warum Skripte anwenden?
Wie und wo fange ich an?
Was bedeuten die verschiedenen Typen von Skripten und wo liegen die Unterschiede?

2. Wünsche für bestimmte Skripte – gibt es etwas was Sie schon immer automatisieren wollten, aber nicht wussten, ob und wie das geht? Zögern sie nicht, solche Wünsche zu äußern.

3. Bitte posten Sie Ihre Skripte (egal welcher Art und Komplexität), die Sie entwickelt haben und nützlich finden – so können wir hoffentlich eine nützliche Skript-Bibliothek für uns alle aufbauen, um Aufgaben zu automatisieren und die Produktivität von Dragon NaturallySpeaking zu erhöhen (DNS zu benutzen, kann schneller sein als Maus oder Tastatur, wenn man das ganze Potenzial von Scripting begriffen hat).

Okay, since you explicitly begged for impossible tasks, here's my favorite:

I would love if the compounding and de-compounding speech commands could be called from within the spelling window of DNS.
Explanation: Sometimes, I have to correct a word within a phrase and at the same time compound or de-compound another within the same context, the latter of which I sometimes notice only after having opened the spelling window.
I really do not think that can be done by scripting, or can it?


O.K., da du um eine unmögliche Aufgabe geradezu gebettelt hast, ist hier mein Favorit:

Ich fände es toll, wenn die „verbinde“ und „trenne“-Befehle auch von innerhalb des Buchstabierfensters von DNS aufgerufen werden könnten.

Zur Erläuterung: Manchmal muss ich ein Wort innerhalb eines Ausdrucks korrigieren und zugleich ein anderes innerhalb desselben Kontextes verbinden oder trennen, wobei ich Letzteres zuweilen erst bemerke, nachdem ich das Buchstabierfenster geöffnet habe.
Ich glaube nicht, dass das per Skript erreichbar ist, oder?

Mein lieber Marius,

das sind Wünsche! Diese Frage an Lindsay zu richten, ist möglicherweise keine so gute Idee, weil die dabei behandelte Problematik der Kompositabildung keine typisch englische Einrichtung ist und er wahrscheinlich die Frage gar nicht nachvollziehen kann. Dass es grundsätzlich technisch möglich ist, worauf ich im Leben nicht gekommen wäre, habe ich jedoch soeben probiert.

Dabei sind jedoch verschiedene Dinge zu beachten, erschwert wird das dadurch, dass man im Buchstabierfenster nur einen sehr eingeschränkten Satz von Befehlen zur Verfügung hat, und "verbinde das" oder "trenne ..." gehören nicht dazu. Es geht aber schon, über den Umweg des Diktierfensters. Man muss nur folgendes machen:

1. Die zu behandelnden Wörter/das zu behandelnde Wort markieren;
2. Den Befehl "Diktierfenster öffnen" aufrufen;
3. Die gewünschte Aktion im Diktierfenster ausführen;
4. Die überarbeiteten Wörter mittels "Übertragung" an das Buchstabierfenster zurückgeben.

Machbar ist das sicherlich, ob problemlos und allzeit gefahrenlos, kann ich im Moment nicht beurteilen.

Ich würde sagen, ich füge hier mal eine Übersetzung an.

Bringing this question up with Lindsay was probably not a good idea, since the underlying problem of compounding or compounding words isn't really typical of the English language, so I would assume that he doesn't even understand what this is about. I wouldn't have thought of it, but at least I have just tested this and it turned out, that basically it can be done also in the spell of dialogue technically.

However, there are certain difficulties to consider, one of which being that there are only a few commands available in the spell of dialogue, and this is also true for the command "compound that" and "uncompound...". But it can be done by redirecting your input to the dictation box. You would have to do the following:

1. Select the word or the words you want to compound or uncompound in the spell dialogue;
2. Execute the command "show dictation box";
3. Perform the action in the dictation box, that is compound or uncompound the word/words;
4. Use "Transfer" to send the result back to the spell dialogue.

This will doable somehow, but I'm not certain whether it will be without any problems all the time.

also ich fand meine Idee äußerst gut (zugegeben auch etwas gemein), weil die Frage in die Runde ging und ich jetzt dank deines Ideenreichtums eine Lösung habe! Danke dafür, jetzt geht es daran, dies weiter zu automatisieren.
