während ich das Add-In für Word reaktivieren konnte, lässt sich das für Excel nicht einmal hinzufügen, obwohl es an der richtigen Stelle bei Nuance als *dll-Datei vorhanden ist. Was tun?

Das könnte auf eine Verwechselung der 32-Bit und 64-Bit Varianten von Office zurück zu führen sein. Welches haben Sie, und in welchem Dragon-Ordner (ganzer Pfad) haben Sie gesucht?

Also daraus schließe ich, dass Sie Dragon 10 (10.1?) verwenden und Office in einer 32-Bit Version (Office 2007) installiert ist, aber ich weiß nicht, auf welcher Version von Windows und ob die 32-Bit oder 64-Bit ist. Nun gut. Was genau bedeutet: "lässt sich das für Excel nicht einmal hinzufügen"? - An welcher Stelle?

Zur Umkehrung des Verfahrens von Frage und Antwort: man kann es auch mit einer Reparatur von Office versuchen.

I don't know why customers play this game. Maybe they don't realize that asking for help via email is very different from asking for help face-to-face. In a face-to-face conversation, the answer to a question arrives within seconds, whereas in email it can take hours or days. This means that when the answer finally comes back, the person asking the question has to go back and read the conversation history thread to re-establish context.

Or maybe they think they're going to be disclosing Top Secret Information to Microsoft if they share the code that they can't get to work. Trust me, we don't care about your Top Secret Algorithm for Beating the Stock Market With No Money Down. Go ahead and remove those from the code. We just want to see how you are interfacing with the shell. (And besides, you probably should be removing them anyway, since they are irrelevant and are not part of a minimal program that reproduces the problem.)

Die Ironie, Herr Wilke, ist berechtigt und kommt bei mir als Dipl.-Übs. für Englisch (retired) auch sprachlich voll an.
Also, meine unhöflich knappe Art liegt an einem Denkfehler. Beim Forum "Nickles" wird meine gesamte Notebook-Charakteristik als Signatur angegeben - daher bin ich es nicht mehr gewöhnt, Details zu nennen. So sorry.

Mein Versuch, Office zu "reparieren", schlug fehl. Wann immer ich die Add-Ins für Excel aufrufe, fehlt das für den Drachen. Also gehe ich dort bei COM-Add-ins nicht auf "Aktivieren", sondern auf "Hinzufügen". Ich klicke die im vorigen Beitrag genannte *.dll-Datei an, aber da verschwindet der Schirm auch schon, und nichts hat sich geändert.

Ach so ist das. Demnach ist der verwendete Pfad für die DLL-Datei richtig, aber sie wird nicht geladen. In dem Fall ist sie vielleicht kaputt. Dagegen hilft eine Reparatur von Dragon (sollte wenigstens), weil dabei solche Dateien typischerweise neu installiert werden.
