Ich habe längere Zeit mit 10./11. und den Vorversionen diktiert, jeweils Professional-Version, medizinisches Vokabular als Upgrade. Jetzt habe ich einen Versuch gestartet mit Medical 11. Schwierigkeiten beim Vergleich ergeben sich natürlich, da die Pflege der Diktatdateien einen völlig unterschiedlichen Stand hat. Weiterhin ist es auch per se schwierig die Güte der erzielten Genauigkeit zu beurteilen, zumindest objektiv, da viele Unwägbarkeiten einbezogen werden müssen (Text/Umfeld, et cetera). Somit kann ich nur eine subjektive Bewertung abgeben: Ich kann keinen sinnvollen Benefit erkennen. Allgemeinsprachliche Diktate werden sicherlich erheblich schlechter (Benefit wird zu Beine fit, Vorversionen werden zu Voroperationen, ob das Sinn macht, weiß nur Amerika). Mein grundsätzliches Problem beim Diktieren sind immer die Konjugationen/Deklinationen/Endungen gewesen, das ist aber ein systemimmanentes Problem, da Korrekturen dazu verwandt werden, den Sprachstil zu bestimmen, wenn ich den aber bewusst einmal ändere, ergo. Es müssen bei Dragon einfach unglaublich viele Satz- und Kontextbeispiele erstellt werden, damit das Programm die richtige Endung wählt, wenn das überhaupt sinnvoll ist wegen Henne und Ei. Bei diesem Problem bringt mir Medical einfach gar nichts. Außer einer Neigung, bei allem und jedem Zusammenhang medizinische Begriffe zu benutzen, kann ich keinen Unterschied beim Diktieren entdecken.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and I have to say (presuming I understand the Google translation correctly) that the view you express is not uncommon among many doctors, consultants and medical professionals that I come across here in the UK. Some of them use either Premium or Professional and prefer to add their own medical vocabularies which they usually do by adding words from many of their own documents when setting up a new user (during the language model scanning of documents).
I have also heard this view expressed on quite a few of the American forums where some medical professionals are particularly upset because with the Professional, Premium versions of Dragon the microphone automatically switches itself off whenever the medical professional tries to access a supported EMR. This is an attempt by Nuance in the USA to force medical professionals to purchase the Medical version.
As it happens I developed an application that prevents this happening but just before releasing it I was giving a severe warning by Nuance off impending legal action if I did. Since my company is a Nuance accredited partner it was also not going to be in my best interests to release this application.
I expect you speak very good English but if you need a translation then please just ask. I would also like to express my thanks to Jörg for helping me out with this on other posts in the last few days and hopefully in the next few days, thank you.

Hallo, nach einiger Zeit Medical 11.0 jetyt wieder Diktat mit Prof. 11.0 und den gewonnten Userdaten. Von Professional auf Medical hatte ich bereits geschildert, kein Benefit. Jetzt andersherum, somit Wechsel Medical auf Professional mit der gewohnten Guete der Qualitaet. Ich kann somit feststellen, dass Professional keine Unterlegenheit bietet. Gruss
auch ich kann Ähnliches berichten. Bei uns haben mehrere Ärzte für ein halbes Jahr die Professional und die Medical-Version 11 nebeneinander getestet und sind zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass die Medical-Version nicht unbedingt die entscheidenden Vorteile bringt.
Die gemeinsamen Probleme betrafen hauptsächlich Groß- und Kleinschreibung und Komposita.
Lediglich bei den medizinischen Fachbegriffen hat die Medical-Version (natürlich) die Nase vorn, soweit diese vorhanden waren.
Manchmal ist allerdings auch der psychologische Aspekt einer Medical-Version für Mediziner nicht zu unterschätzen.
